What should I know about dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that adds volume under the skin, enhancing features, filling in lines, and restoring a more youthful appearance.

While you relax in the MedSpa chair, your provider cleans your skin with an antiseptic agent and applies a numbing lotion to minimize discomfort. Then, they carefully inject the dermal filler into your skin and massage it into place. They repeat the injections as needed to get the look you want.

When can I expect to see results from dermal fillers?

You can expect to see results from dermal fillers right away. You may have some redness and swelling at the site of your injections, but these side effects go away within a few days.

You can resume your usual routine after dermal fillers. However, the team at Meshkin Medical requests you skip any intense physical activities for two days to reduce the risk of bruising.

Dermal fillers last six or more months, depending on the site of the injections.
