Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

FUE is a minimally invasive hair transplant procedure.  At Meshkin Medical, circular punchs are used to extract the follicles for FUE method. Instead of making linear incisions to remove donor hair follicles from your scalp, we use a small circular punch tool to extract the hair from donor area . This ensures minimum scaring and reduces recovery time. 

Dr Meshkin extracts hair units one at a time. Once hair is removed and prepared for implanting, Dr Meshkin makes the recipient area ready using customized needles  to match the existing hair natural direction and orientation. The prepared follicles are the. strategically implanted into the areas where hair is thinning. 

Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT)

FUT is a minimally invasive hair transplant procedure that removes strip of hair follicles from the donor site. Dr Meshkin used the more advanced trichophytic closure technique to minimize scarring. Once hair follicles are removed, the follicles are separated into 1-3 units.  Meanwhile Dr Meshkin will prepare  the recipient area using  customized needles. The  hair follicles are transplanted into to the area where hair is thin or balding.

When can I expect results from hair restoration?

Results from your hair restoration treatments at Meshkin Medical depend on the type of treatment you need. However, after  hair transplants it takes time for hair to regrow. In general it may take up to three months to see intial hair growth, and May take up to a year for full results with continued improvements. For non surgical results, you may see improvements in hair thickness and growth after three months. With continued treatments, you may notice less hair loss. Non surgical treatments are most helpful in intial phases of hair thining  and for preventing future hair loss.
